Operation Sindoor:-India has once again shown that it will not sit quietly when attacked. In a powerful and precise military operation called “Operation Sindoor”, the Indian Army has avenged the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The operation was carried out on the night of May 7, and its details are now coming to light.

According to reliable sources, Indian forces destroyed nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These camps were being used by deadly terrorist groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) to plan and execute attacks against India.

Top 5 Most Wanted Terrorists Killed

During this covert operation, India successfully eliminated five top terrorists, including some of the most dangerous and most wanted men on its radar.

Among them was Mudassar Khadian, a senior Lashkar terrorist who had even received official recognition from the Pakistani Army. Another major blow was the killing of Masood Azhar’s brother-in-law, who played a key role in spreading terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Death of IC-814 Hijacker

One of the biggest names on the list is Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, also known by various aliases like Ustad Ji, Mohammad Salim, and Ghousi Sahab. He was involved in several deadly terror attacks in Kashmir and was also wanted for his role in the hijacking of Indian Airlines Flight IC-814 in 1999. He was the head of the Muridke Camp under the terrorist group Markaz Tayyiba.

What’s more shocking is that Pakistan’s Army and leadership honored his death. A guard of honor was given during his funeral. High-profile figures like Pakistan’s Army Chief and Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz paid tribute. The funeral prayer was held in a government school and led by Hafiz Abdul Rauf from the globally banned terror group Jamaat-ud-Dawa. A retired Pakistani Lieutenant General and Punjab Police’s IG also attended the event.

Masood Azhar’s Network Crushed

Also confirmed dead in the operation was Masood Azhar’s eldest brother-in-law, who managed the Markaz Subhan Allah center in Bahawalpur. He was actively involved in radicalizing youth and raising funds for Jaish-e-Mohammed.

His younger brother-in-law, also killed, was responsible for weapons training for JeM and had a direct hand in several attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. He was deeply involved in smuggling weapons from Afghanistan and had a long history of terror involvement. He was buried in Faisalabad with senior Pakistani Army officials and the city’s Deputy Commissioner present at his funeral.

Another Key Militant Eliminated

The son of Mufti Asgar Khan Kashmiri, who was Jaish’s operational commander in PoK, was also among those killed. He was responsible for planning and coordinating several attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.

Operation Sindoor is being seen as a major success for India’s defense forces. It not only avenged the lives lost in the Pahalgam attack but also sent a strong message to those sheltering terrorists across the border. With top-level operatives of Jaish and Lashkar eliminated, this strike is being hailed as one of the most effective covert missions in recent years.
