Delhi Police arrests Bangladeshi:-In the capital city of India, Delhi, security agencies have launched a major campaign against drug traffickers, leading to a significant breakthrough. In this operation, a Bangladeshi couple has been arrested in a case involving the seizure of heroin worth ₹8 crores. This operation is considered a major success, as the couple had been living a lavish lifestyle while profiting from the illegal drug trade. Now, agencies are working to uncover the people behind this high-profile drug racket and are determined to investigate further.

According to the details, Delhi Police arrested an illegal Bangladeshi immigrant and his female relative for allegedly possessing 768 grams of heroin, valued at ₹8 crores in the market. A police officer shared this information on Friday. The officer revealed that the Anti-Narcotics Squad (ANS) from the South-East district of Delhi arrested Hamidul and his relative Nasima from the Sunlight Colony area in Delhi.

DCP (South-East) Ravi Kumar explained that Hamidul (23) had illegally entered India three months ago and became involved in drug trafficking in order to make quick money. It was also revealed that Nasima, who had previously worked at a TV news channel, had allegedly supplied the heroin.

Based on a tip-off, the ANS raided the Jangpura Extension area, where they caught Hamidul. Upon searching his residence, they recovered 75 grams of heroin. During interrogation, Hamidul revealed that Nasima had given him the heroin to distribute. Following this, a raid was carried out at Nasima’s residence, where 80 grams of additional heroin was recovered.

DCP Ravi Kumar further shared that Nasima was arrested from a hotel in Sunlight Colony, where 693 grams of heroin was seized from her possession. The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities are working to uncover the larger network involved in the drug trade.
