Delhi Exit Polls:-Senior Congress leader Sandeep Dixit has given a big statement regarding the Delhi elections. He said that when the election results will come on the 8th, know the full news?
Delhi Exit Polls Result:-As the exit polls for the Delhi elections roll in, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit has made a bold prediction. He stated that once the results are announced on 8th of this month, Arvind Kejriwal will leave Delhi and move to Punjab to become the Chief Minister there.
Not just that, he also claimed that the BJP is set to win a majority in Delhi and revealed how many seats Congress and AAP might secure in the elections.
In an interview with News18 India, Sandeep Dikshit said that looking at the trends emerging from exit polls, BJP will either reach the majority mark or even cross it. He firmly stated,
“One thing is certain – BJP will be far ahead of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in these elections.”
When asked about how many seats Congress is expected to win, Dikshit confidently said that Congress could secure more than 10 seats. However, he clarified that this was his personal estimation, not the party’s official prediction.
During the conversation, the journalist asked Sandeep Dikshit whether he would be reminded of Sheila Dikshit if Arvind Kejriwal lost from the New Delhi Assembly seat. To this, he replied,
“Of course, I will remember her. It will give me political satisfaction.”
He further added that he always believed AAP’s public image does not reflect its true nature. When asked if this would be “poetic justice” for the way Kejriwal campaigned against Sheila Dikshit, Sandeep Dikshit responded,
“You can say that.”
“People of Delhi Are Returning to Real Issues”
The Congress leader expressed happiness that Delhi voters are finally focusing on real issues. He criticized Kejriwal, saying,
“His frustration was clearly visible during the elections.”
Referring to Kejriwal’s statement about “poison in Yamuna river”, Dikshit said,
“How can an IIT engineer talk like this? People in Delhi are not used to hearing such things. Kejriwal has deceived and misled the public.”
Almost all exit polls have indicated a huge victory for the BJP, showing that AAP is likely to face a major defeat.
Several pollsters had initially underestimated BJP’s strength, but the latest trends suggest that BJP could win anywhere between 37 to 61 seats, which is well beyond the majority mark.
Reports also suggest that Congress played a crucial role in damaging AAP’s prospects, indirectly helping BJP to gain an advantage.
Muslim Cleric’s Statement Raises Questions
Amidst the election results speculation, a video of Muslim cleric Maulana Sajid Rashidi has surfaced, which some believe explains BJP’s strong performance. His statement has added another layer of political debate over the results.
With just a few days left for the final results, all eyes are now on whether BJP will officially secure the majority as predicted or if AAP can still pull off a surprise.
