Rising Attacks on Police in Bihar: A Serious Concern

The back-to-back killings of police officers in Bihar have raised serious concerns about law and order in the state. In just three days, two ASIs have been murdered while performing their duty.

  • In Araria, ASI Rajiv Ranjan was beaten to death by a mob while trying to arrest a suspect.
  • In Munger, ASI Santosh Kumar was attacked with a sharp weapon while trying to resolve a dispute.

Both cases highlight the growing risk police officers face while carrying out their duties. The government and law enforcement agencies now face mounting pressure to take strict action against those responsible and prevent such attacks in the future.

The people of Bihar, especially the families of these fallen officers, are demanding justice. The state police department has assured strict action and swift arrests in both cases.
