A shocking incident has come to light from Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, where a crazy lover considered the rejection in love as his “insult”… and what he did next is no less than a nightmare.
Jhunjhunu Crime News:-A deeply disturbing case has come to light from Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan, where a young girl became the victim of a brutal knife attack—simply because she refused to say “I love you” to a boy who was obsessed with her.
This shocking incident raises serious concerns about how rejection is being taken as an “insult” by certain individuals, especially when women choose to say NO.
📍 What exactly happened?
The incident took place in the Mandrela police station area of Jhunjhunu and involved a 22-year-old girl who was reportedly being harassed for days by a neighbor named Pramod.
According to the victim’s family, Pramod had been trying to force the girl into a relationship. He would often approach her and pressurize her to say “I love you”. Despite her clear refusals, he didn’t stop.
One day, he confronted her again and demanded the same. When she again refused, he walked away — but clearly, he hadn’t let go of the obsession.
🔪 The Day of the Attack
On August 5, the girl was alone at home. Her mother had gone to the city, and her father was working in the fields. Taking advantage of the situation, Pramod entered the house uninvited and tried to molest her.
As she started shouting for help, he panicked and fled.
But the nightmare wasn’t over yet. A little while later, when the girl went to the field to fetch fodder, Pramod followed her, and in a sudden, horrifying moment, he attacked her with a knife.
He stabbed her multiple times — on her head, neck, shoulders, back, stomach, chest, and arms. It was a brutal, frenzied attack meant to kill.
👨🌾 Locals Came to Her Rescue
Hearing her screams, local farmers working nearby rushed to the spot. They managed to save the girl from the attacker’s grip and stopped further harm.
But in a shocking twist, the accused Pramod then turned the knife on himself, stabbing his own body and later even consumed poison in an apparent suicide attempt.
Both the girl and the attacker were rushed to different hospitals. The girl is currently under treatment, and Pramod is admitted to a hospital in Jaipur — seriously injured, but alive.
👨👩👧👦 Families Knew Each Other
What makes the case even more surprising is that both families knew each other well. The girl and the attacker were distant relatives, and both their fathers are farmers.
According to the police, there had been no previous public dispute or fights between them, which makes the sudden attack even more chilling.
🧠 A Reflection of a Deeper Issue
This incident is not just about one girl being attacked — it reflects a serious problem in society. Some people, especially young men, still believe that a girl saying “no” to love or friendship is an insult to their ego.
Such thinking is dangerous and needs to be addressed at every level — family, school, and society.
Police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway. The attacker Pramod will face legal action once his condition stabilizes.
Meanwhile, the girl is being treated for multiple injuries. Her survival is nothing short of a miracle, thanks to the timely action of the local villagers.
It’s heartbreaking to see such violent reactions just because someone said “No”. A girl has every right to reject a proposal or say no to friendship or love, and that choice must be respected.
This case is a strong reminder that obsession is not love — and that mental health, respect, and consent need to be talked about more than ever.
