Pushpa 2:-Recently a big controversy broke out over South superstar Allu Arjun when a woman died during the screening of his film Pushpa 2. Know about it?
Pushpa 2:-Telugu film industry superstar Allu Arjun has got a big relief from the Telangana High Court. The court has granted him interim bail for four weeks in the case of the death of a woman during the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Earlier, the lower court had sent him to judicial custody for 14 days.
A tragic accident took place during the screening of Allu Arjun’s most awaited film Pushpa 2, released recently, in which a woman died. After this incident, the producers of the film and actor Allu Arjun were accused of negligence. The family of the deceased claimed that the accident happened due to crowd and lapses in management. After this, the police started investigation and took Allu Arjun into custody for questioning.

Lower court’s decision
On Friday, the lower court, while hearing the case, sent Allu Arjun on 14 days remand. The court ruled saying that the case requires in-depth investigation and evidence.
High Court’s stance
Challenging this decision, Allu Arjun’s legal team approached the Telangana High Court. High Court judge Juvvadi Sridevi heard the case. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, i.e. the public prosecutor and the actor’s lawyer S. Niranjan Reddy, the court granted interim bail to Allu Arjun for four weeks.
What did the court say?
Judge Juvvadi Sridevi said in her decision:
“Despite being an actor, Allu Arjun is also a citizen of the country and his rights should be respected. No person can be deprived of his right to life and liberty. We are sorry to the family of the deceased on this tragic incident, but can the actor be held responsible for this tragedy? This is a matter of investigation.”
The court ordered Allu Arjun to furnish a personal bond of Rs 50,000 and fixed January 21 for the next hearing of the case.

What are the bail conditions?
Allu Arjun will have to cooperate in the investigation every time the police asks for it. He will not be allowed to leave the country without the court’s permission.
He will have to appear before the court again within four weeks.
Allu Arjun’s legal team’s arguments
The actor’s lawyer S. Niranjan Reddy argued that:
The incident happened due to the crowd during the film screening.
The responsibility of the event and crowd management was entirely of the theatre and the local administration, not the actor.
Allu Arjun is only an artist and it is wrong to hold him personally responsible.
Public prosecutor’s arguments
The public prosecutor argued that:
The crowd went out of control due to the presence of the superstar.
The actor is also responsible for the lapse in security management as his name and brand are a major part of the film.
What do experts say on the matter?
According to legal experts, it is complicated to determine the fault in this case. Usually, the responsibility of the organizers and the security team is considered to be prime in such incidents. To hold the actor guilty, it has to be proved that he played an active role in the event or violated any security protocol.

This decision of the High Court has brought relief to Allu Arjun. However, the matter is not over yet and the next hearing on January 21 will decide what the actor’s role was. This whole matter has given rise to discussions not only in the Telugu film industry but across the country.
