Maharashtra’s politics has once again entered a phase of turmoil. Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray has raised sharp questions about the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), know the full news?
Uddhav Thackeray News:-Maharashtra’s political scene is changing fast. New alliances are taking shape while old ones seem to be falling apart. Recently, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray made some strong remarks about the failures of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, raising serious doubts about its future.
In a candid interview given to ‘Saamana’, the official mouthpiece of his party, Thackeray openly admitted that there were major mistakes made during the seat-sharing talks for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. He said that this tug-of-war between the MVA partners continued until the last moment, and unfortunately, it sent the wrong message to the public.
⚠️ “If the same mistakes are repeated, there’s no point in coming together again” – Thackeray’s sharp warning
Thackeray didn’t hold back. He said that if the alliance partners plan to repeat the same blunders again, then there’s no use being part of the coalition. His statement clearly shows that he’s no longer comfortable in the MVA’s current form.
He also pointed out that while the three parties — Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress, and NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) — showed strong unity during the Lok Sabha elections, things changed when it came to the assembly elections. The feeling of “we” turned into “me”, as personal ambitions and egos took over.
🕵️♂️ Is the change of heart connected to a secret meeting with Fadnavis?
Thackeray’s recent comments have sparked speculation — especially since he had a closed-door meeting with Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis just a few days ago. Could that meeting be the real reason behind this sudden shift in tone?
There are also whispers of growing closeness between Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, with talks of a potential new alliance. This has made the Congress party within MVA nervous, fearing a complete reshuffle of political equations.
🎯 Thackeray accepts past failures – inside and outside the alliance
In the same interview, Uddhav Thackeray also accepted his government’s communication failures during his time as CM. He said that despite launching schemes like:
-
Shiv Bhojan Thali (affordable meals),
-
Farmer loan waivers, and
-
Efficient COVID management,
these efforts were not properly highlighted to the public.
He also criticized the Election Commission and EVMs, suggesting that the real achievements of his government never got the spotlight they deserved.
⚖️ Concerns over new laws and MVA’s ideological gaps
Thackeray also raised concerns about the recently introduced “Maharashtra Special Public Security Bill”, saying it’s unclear whether the law will actually protect women or stop public exploitation. He questioned its lack of clarity and intent.
At the same time, he reminded everyone that Shiv Sena, Congress, and NCP were once fierce political enemies, and even today, ideological differences still exist. These unresolved issues are likely another reason why he feels disconnected from the MVA.
🧩 What happens next in Maharashtra politics?
One thing is clear — there’s growing discomfort within the MVA, and Uddhav Thackeray is now thinking beyond the existing alliance. His words and recent actions point toward a possible new political direction, perhaps even a realignment with old rivals like the BJP.
So, the big question is:
👉 Is Uddhav preparing to walk away from the uneasy alliance with Congress and NCP?
👉 Or is he planning a surprise comeback with Fadnavis by his side in a brand new political deal?
With elections nearing and political temperatures rising, the next few months in Maharashtra will be extremely crucial. All eyes are now on Uddhav Thackeray — to see which road he takes:
Will he stick with his old allies despite discomfort?
Or will he choose to script a new political ‘Saamana’?
