Gwalior News:-In a shocking case from Gwalior, a man named Ajay Dagour has approached the police, accusing his wife, Sonia Rathore, and her lover of threatening to kill him. Ajay claims that Sonia is demanding ₹5 lakh from him, and if he fails to pay, she has threatened to chop his body into pieces, put them in a drum, and cover it with cement. The terrified husband has also submitted video evidence to the police, showing his wife’s alleged misdeeds.

From Love Marriage to Threats and Violence

Ajay, a resident of Gaddhe Wala Mohalla in Gwalior, works as an outsourced employee at the Municipal Corporation. He married Sonia about 15 years ago in a love marriage. Initially, their relationship was fine, and they even had a son. However, over time, Sonia’s behavior changed. She started making new boyfriends, attending late-night parties, and even posting videos of herself drinking alcohol and smoking hookah on social media.

When Ajay objected to her behavior, she allegedly started beating him. On one occasion, when he confronted her at a party, she called her boyfriend, who also assaulted him.

Living With Her Boyfriend, Taking Away Their Son

Ajay alleges that for the past three years, Sonia has been living with her boyfriend, and she has also taken their six-year-old son with her. Whenever he tries to meet his son, Sonia and her boyfriend beat him up. He claims that despite repeated complaints to the police, they dismissed his case as a “personal family matter” and refused to take action.

Demand for ₹5 Lakh in Exchange for Divorce

When Ajay finally decided to seek a divorce, Sonia allegedly demanded ₹5 lakh in exchange for agreeing to the separation. However, Ajay earns only ₹8,000 per month and says it is impossible for him to arrange such a large amount. Fearing for his life, he has turned to the police for protection.

Police Take Matter Seriously

Following his complaint, the police have assured him that they will look into the matter. According to Women’s Police Station Incharge, Deepti Tomar, Ajay has accused his wife of drug addiction and leaving him for another man. She stated that both parties will be called for counseling, and a proper investigation will be conducted before taking further action.

This case highlights a growing concern, where men are also becoming victims of domestic violence and blackmail, leading them to seek police and legal intervention for their safety.
