Who will become CM In Haryana:-After 66.96 percent voting in Haryana Assembly Elections 2024, now all eyes are on the counting of votes to be held on October 8. But before that, the results of the exit polls have heated up the political atmosphere. In many exit polls, Congress is seen getting a clear majority, due to which the discussion for the post of Chief Minister has intensified in the party. The names of many prominent Congress leaders are included in the race for the post of CM, but the final decision has to be taken by the party high command. Let us know in detail which names are in this race:

1. Bhupinder Singh Hooda

Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda is considered to be at the forefront of this race. Hooda has previously been the Chief Minister of Haryana twice (2005-2014) and under his leadership the Congress had performed strongly in the state. If the Congress gets a majority, then Hooda is almost certain to become the Chief Minister for the third time. His grip on the organization and political experience make him a strong candidate within the Congress.

2. Kumari Shailja

Kumari Shailja’s name is also emerging prominently in the race for the post of Chief Minister. Shailja is currently an MP from Sirsa and comes from the Dalit community, which is an important vote bank in Haryana. The simplicity and clean image of Kumari Shailja, who is considered close to the Gandhi family, also goes in her favor. If the Congress tries to woo the Dalit community, Shailja is likely to be made the Chief Ministerial candidate.

3. Deepender Hooda

If Bhupendra Singh Hooda is out of the race for the post of Chief Minister due to age, then his son Deepender Hooda is considered a strong contender. Deepender Hooda is an MP from Rohtak and can be the face of youth leadership. His acceptance and political legacy within and outside the party make him a prominent candidate for the post.

4. Randeep Singh Surjewala

Randeep Singh Surjewala is also seen as a strong contender for the post of Chief Minister. He is a senior Congress leader and AICC general secretary, as well as a Rajya Sabha MP. Surjewala has a strong support base in Kaithal, and his speech style and strategic skills make him an influential leader. Although he has said that he will accept the decision of Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, his ambition to become CM cannot be considered wrong.

5. Udai Bhan
If the Congress decides to make a leader from the Dalit community the Chief Minister, then Udai Bhan can also be a major contender. Uday Bhan is considered close to Bhupendra Singh Hooda and has a good hold among the Dalit community in Haryana. His possibility of becoming the Chief Minister cannot be ignored either, especially if the Congress wants to create social balance.

The decision of the Congress high command is important
Although these names are being discussed in full swing, the final decision will be taken by the Congress high command. The final name will be decided only with the consent of senior leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. This time the performance of Congress is considered very important in Haryana politics, as the party is looking to return to power after a decade.

After the results are declared on October 8, it will be decided which Congress leader will be handed over the reins of Haryana. Till then, all eyes will be on these key candidates.
