Greed of lottery or prize: Fraudsters ask for personal information or money from people by luring them with the promise of winning a prize or lottery. Keep in mind, a real lottery is never found suddenly.
Fake dating profiles: Fraudsters try to build an emotional relationship by creating fake dating profiles and then slowly start demanding money. Always avoid money transactions with unknown people.
Job scam: By giving fake job offers or job advertisements, fraudsters claim to get you a job and in return ask for money in the name of registration fees or documentation charges. Check the authenticity of any job offer before accepting it.
Fake technical support calls: Many times fraudsters falsely claim technical problems in your device and ask for money in the name of support or remote access. Never give remote access of your phone or computer to any unknown person.
Fraud of huge returns on investment: Fraudsters try to get you to invest by promising high returns. Do not invest money in any scheme without complete information.

Check the authenticity of the caller: Ensure the authenticity of unknown callers and avoid video calls or money transfers. Government agencies do not call via WhatsApp or Skype.

Do not click on links and attachments: Avoid opening links and attachments, especially those received from unknown sources, as this can be dangerous for your security.
