Google Maps parking:-Google Maps is soon rolling out a new feature that will make it much easier for drivers in North America to find parking. For this, Google has partnered with a company called SpotHero. SpotHero is a platform that helps you find and book parking spaces. Now you can use SpotHero’s features directly through Google Maps and Google Search.
How the new feature will work:
With the help of this feature, when you search for a place in Google Maps or Google Search, you will see a “Book Online” button with parking options. Clicking on this button will take you to the SpotHero website, where you can easily book a parking space.
You can choose a parking space near your destination based on time, date and other features such as electric car charging, wheelchair access and valet service. This feature will not only save time but will also reduce the hassle of finding parking.
SpotHero and Google Maps partnership:
SpotHero partnered with Google Maps in April 2024. Since then, this feature has been activated in many major cities of North America. SpotHero has been operating since 2011 and is currently covering more than 8,000 parking spaces in more than 300 cities. It has also worked with large entertainment venues such as Madison Square Garden and Chicago Cubes.
SpotHero owner Mark Lawrence said that this partnership with Google Maps will make the parking problem even easier to solve. Google Maps is used by millions of people every day, and this feature will help them find and book parking spaces at a low cost and safely.
