A horrific case has come to light in Haridwar, which is similar to the recent Saurabh murder case in Meerut. The story of both the cases is almost the same, know the full news?

Haridwar News:-A shocking murder case has surfaced in Haridwar, which closely resembles the infamous Meerut murder case involving Saurabh, Sahil, and Muskan. The storyline in both cases is almost the same—a love triangle, an extra-marital affair, and a brutal murder. The only difference is in how the crime was executed.
How the Murder Plot Was Planned?
This tragic incident took place in Shahpur village of Haridwar’s Pathri police station area. The victim, Sukhpal, worked as a caretaker (sewadar) at a Gurudwara in Amritsar. His wife, Ritu, lived in Haridwar with their two children. Their elder son is 15 years old.
Some time ago, Ritu met a man named Ritik at the Gurudwara. What started as a casual friendship soon turned into a love affair. As their illicit relationship grew stronger, they began thinking of a way to get rid of Sukhpal so they could be together.
How Sukhpal Walked Into the Trap?
Ritu and Ritik carefully planned the murder. Ritu called her husband Sukhpal from Amritsar, pretending to miss him and asking him to come home. Oblivious to the trap, Sukhpal happily returned to Haridwar—unaware that this would be his final journey.
On March 18, as per their plan, Ritu and Ritik strangled Sukhpal to death by covering his mouth and nose, making sure he couldn’t scream or fight back. Later, they dumped his body in a field, assuming no one would suspect them.
How the Police Caught the Killers?
When Sukhpal’s body was discovered, the police launched an investigation. Their suspicion soon fell on Ritu because of her changing statements and suspicious behavior. After interrogation, the truth came out—Ritu and her lover Ritik had planned and executed the murder together.
The police have now arrested both Ritu and Ritik and booked them under murder charges. They have been presented in court, and legal proceedings are underway.
This case is eerily similar to the Meerut murder case, where a wife and her lover killed the husband to continue their illicit relationship. Unfortunately, such crimes driven by love affairs are becoming more common, proving once again that betrayal and greed can lead to horrifying consequences.
