Ravichandran Ashwin:-Indian cricket team veteran Ravichandran Ashwin has announced his retirement from international cricket. He made this announcement in a press conference after the Brisbane Test against Australia was drawn. Ashwin said, “This is a very emotional time for me.” Ashwin, who is fondly called ‘Anna’ in the team, has left behind many memorable moments of Indian cricket by saying goodbye to his 14-year-long and illustrious career.

Ashwin called the Adelaide Pink Ball Test played on the Australia tour as his last international match. However, this match was not special for him personally as he got just one wicket in two innings. After this, he was not given a place in the playing XI in Perth and Brisbane, and Ravindra Jadeja was played in his place.

On the last day of the Brisbane Test, during the rain, Ashwin was seen having a long conversation with senior batsman and former India captain Virat Kohli in the dressing room. This moment became a sign of the end of his career.
