Redmi is soon going to launch its new smartphone Redmi Turbo 4 Pro in China, which will come with many powerful features. Know about its features?
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro:-Redmi is getting ready to launch its new smartphone, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, next week in China. What makes this phone special is that it will be the first smartphone to come with Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. While the exact launch date hasn’t been officially announced yet, Redmi’s brand head Wang Teng Thomas recently confirmed on Chinese social media platform Weibo that the phone will arrive in the next few days.
🔥 What’s special about it?
Wang Teng also confirmed that the Turbo 4 Pro will have a 2.5K resolution display, which means sharper, clearer visuals. He said this phone will be a true “Pro” device, designed to perform better than other phones from rival brands like Ace and Neo series.
This new phone will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm process. This powerful chip uses an octa-core setup with larger performance cores for faster speed and efficiency, paired with the Adreno 825 GPU for improved graphics. According to reports, this new chip might offer up to 31% better CPU performance compared to the previous generation.
⚙️ Who is this phone for?
Redmi is clearly targeting people who want flagship-level performance without spending too much money. Teasers from the company over the past few weeks have hinted that this phone will offer better specifications than what is usually available in its price segment.
It is expected to come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Though these specs haven’t been officially confirmed, if true, it would be an impressive deal in this price category.
📲 Design and Display
In terms of looks, the Turbo 4 Pro is expected to have a premium design, featuring a metal middle frame and a glass back panel for a solid and stylish feel. Leaks suggest it will have a 6.83-inch flat LTPS display with 2.5K resolution and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
This would be a big upgrade over the standard Redmi Turbo 4, which was launched earlier this year with a 1.5K OLED panel.
📸 Camera Setup
For photography lovers, the phone might feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which helps to capture sharper, clearer photos, even in shaky or low-light situations. Along with it, there could be an 8-megapixel secondary camera, likely for ultra-wide shots or depth sensing.
🔋 Battery and Charging
One of the biggest highlights could be its large battery. It is rumored to have a 7,550mAh+ battery, which would make it one of the biggest batteries in a mainstream smartphone. For comparison, the iQOO Z10 has a 7,300mAh battery, so this one would be even bigger.
To charge this huge battery quickly, the phone is expected to support 90W fast wired charging. That means even with a big battery, you won’t have to wait long to get it fully charged.
There are also rumors that the phone might come with IP68 or IP69 dust and water resistance rating, which would make it more durable in tough conditions, like rain or dust.
For those wondering about the price — back in January, Redmi launched the standard Redmi Turbo 4 at around ₹23,500 in China. The upcoming Pro model is expected to be priced between ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 (converted from Chinese pricing). If it arrives in India or other markets later, the exact pricing will depend on taxes and market strategy.
The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro looks like a solid, powerful phone for people who want flagship-level specs — like a powerful new Snapdragon chip, huge battery, premium display, and fast charging — without spending a fortune. The official launch is just a few days away, and it will be exciting to see how it performs against other popular models like the Ace series and Neo series in the same segment.
