Banswara news:-A shocking and heartbreaking incident has come to light from Varnavat village in the Banswara district of Rajasthan, where the body of a 19-year-old girl was recovered from a pit. The discovery has left the local community in deep shock and sorrow.
The girl, identified as Bipasha Ninama, daughter of Lalshankar Ninama from Garnavat village, had been missing for the past few days. She was last seen with her live-in partner Pradeep, a 22-year-old resident of the same village.
According to CI Praveen Singh, the couple had been living together since December 2024, first in Udaipur and then more recently at their native village after returning home on April 23. But suddenly, Bipasha went missing, and her family and villagers couldn’t find her anywhere.
Suspicion and Police Involvement
As Bipasha remained untraceable for 3–4 days, her worried family and villagers informed the police. Acting on suspicion, police detained Pradeep for questioning. During interrogation, Pradeep reportedly confessed something horrifying — he told the police that Bipasha had died and that he had buried her body in a pit.
With this information, police immediately reached the spot Pradeep had mentioned. They dug up the ground and found Bipasha’s body, confirming everyone’s worst fears.
Murder or Suicide?
Pradeep told the police that the couple had a fight on the night of May 20, after which Bipasha allegedly hanged herself. Fearing trouble, he claimed to have buried her body secretly. However, the police suspect foul play.
CI Praveen Singh stated that there were no visible rope marks on her neck, which casts doubt on the suicide theory. There’s a possibility that she was strangled, but only the viscera report and full postmortem will confirm the actual cause of death.
Family’s Accusation and Emotional Outburst
Bipasha’s family is devastated and has directly accused Pradeep of murder. They claim he had eloped with Bipasha earlier and that he might have killed her deliberately. Initially, the family refused to allow the postmortem and even created a stir by stopping the ambulance carrying her body. After police intervention and counseling, the family agreed to proceed.
Bipasha was the 10th child among 12 siblings, and her untimely and mysterious death has shattered the family.
Current Status of the Investigation
Pradeep is currently in police custody, and investigation is ongoing under murder charges. Police are waiting for the postmortem and forensic reports to proceed with legal action. They have also assured the family and the villagers of a fair and impartial probe.
This incident raises many painful questions — about trust, about young relationships, and about how tragic a love story can turn. As the investigation unfolds, one can only hope for justice for Bipasha and strength for her grieving family.
