Tirumala Temple:-All the employees associated with the work of Lord Venkateswara’s temple in Tirumala should be Hindus. Naidu made this statement when he was talking to the local media, know the full news?

Tirumala Temple:-B.R. Naidu, the newly appointed chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), has made a controversial but important statement from his point of view. He said that all the employees working in Tirumala temple, which is the abode of Lord Venkateshwara, should be Hindus only. Naidu made this clear while talking to journalists.
He said that this step is necessary to maintain the religiousness and sanctity of the temple and he will make it the first important effort of his tenure. He also said that he will consult the Andhra Pradesh government in this regard as to what decision can be taken for the employees of other religions. This may include transferring them to other government departments or giving them the option of voluntary retirement (VRS).
B.R. Naidu saw his appointment as the chairman of the TTD board as a great privilege and for this he thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Naidu believes that it is the responsibility of the TTD to preserve the sanctity and traditions of the Tirumala temple, and according to him all employees should be followers of Hinduism to ensure this.
In addition, B.R. Naidu also alleged irregularities during the tenure of the YSR Congress, specifically claiming that the arrangements at the Tirumala temple were messed up during the previous government. He says that now he will try to restore sanctity and religious discipline in the temple.
It is worth noting that earlier also there was a controversy over the ghee of Tirupati temple prasad, especially laddus. An issue arose in September when Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu alleged that animal fat was being mixed in the ghee used in the temple prasad. The controversy gained so much momentum that a petition was filed in the Supreme Court and an investigation was started in the matter. After the Chief Minister’s intervention, the TTD blacklisted the company that supplied ghee to the temple, and a vigilance inquiry was also initiated.
After taking over the reins of TTD, BR Naidu appointed K. Shyamala Rao as the new executive officer. Rao had received complaints that the taste of the laddus was not the same as before, after which he got the prasad samples tested. This step was part of an effort to ensure the sanctity and quality of the temple.
Under this new approach of BR Naidu, a discussion has started on the religious and cultural rules related to the temple. Many people supported it calling it right, while some considered it an issue of religious discrimination. It will be interesting to see what steps TTD and the Andhra Pradesh government take in this direction in the coming times and to what extent they are able to maintain the traditions of Tirumala temple.
