Vodafone Idea (VI) :-Vodafone Idea (Vi) has officially begun the next phase of its 5G rollout in India. After launching its 5G services in select metro cities earlier, the telecom company is now working to expand its high-speed network to 23 more cities across the country.
This move is part of Vi’s broader plan to strengthen its presence in key telecom circles and provide faster connectivity to more users.
📍 These 23 Cities Will Get Vi 5G Soon
Vi is currently deploying its 5G network in cities like:
Ahmedabad, Agra, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pune, Surat, Visakhapatnam (Vizag) and many more.
These new rollouts will cover all major Vi circles and are being implemented in phases. If you’re in one of these cities and have a 5G-enabled smartphone, you’ll automatically get access to 5G as soon as the network goes live in your area.
🌆 Where Has Vi Already Launched 5G?
Before this new phase, Vi had already introduced 5G in cities like:
Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, and Patna.
In total, Vi owns 5G spectrum in 17 telecom circles and is gradually expanding coverage city by city.
💰 5G at Just ₹299 – Unlimited Data Plans

According to the company, over 70% of eligible users in existing 5G zones are already using the service.
🤖 Smart Network Management with AI
Vi is not just rolling out 5G; it’s doing it smartly. The company is using AI-powered Self-Organizing Networks (SON) to automatically manage and optimize its infrastructure. This ensures better service quality without manual intervention.
For the 5G and 4G integration, Vi is also partnering with Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung, some of the world’s top telecom equipment providers.
