The Murder in Patparganj: A Chilling Evening
On a quiet Wednesday evening in East Delhi’s Patparganj area, a 27-year-old woman named Priyanka was brutally murdered. Her body was found with four stab wounds—one in her stomach and three in her chest. But the horror didn’t stop there. After stabbing her, the killer burned her body, leaving her in an unrecognizable state.
When police reached the flat, they found her burnt body lying between two beds. Her current husband, Arun, informed police that Priyanka had been receiving death threats from her ex-husband, and she was scared.
The Accused: A Man Already Accused of Molestation
As the investigation began, shocking details came out. The main suspect in the case was Sandeep Kumar, Priyanka’s ex-husband. Sandeep, who was an engineer living in Malviya Nagar, had already been accused of sexually abusing Priyanka’s 4-year-old daughter. This daughter was from Priyanka’s first marriage to a man named Adarsh in 2020.
Sandeep had been arrested earlier for this child abuse case but was out on bail. According to police, Sandeep was angry, frustrated, and deeply disturbed. The next morning, on Thursday, another shocking discovery was made. Police found a dead body near a 23-floor high-rise building in Noida’s Sector-90. It was Sandeep. He had jumped to his death from the building, ending his own life after murdering Priyanka.
