Ballia crime:-A shocking case of human trafficking has come to light from Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, where minor girls were being lured and sold in other states. However, the police acted swiftly, busted the trafficking gang, and arrested three accused involved in this illegal activity. The police also managed to rescue a minor girl, who has now been safely reunited with her family.
How the Case Was Exposed?
Ballia Superintendent of Police (SP) Omvir Singh informed that the Maniyar police received a written complaint stating that minor girls were being taken away and sold. Taking the matter seriously, the police immediately registered a case and started an investigation.
During the investigation, two minor girls were found who had already been trafficked to Rajasthan and other states. One of the girls was sold to a family for domestic work, while the other was forced into marriage. Upon gathering strong evidence, the police took swift action and rescued both minor girls. They also arrested three accused, who have now been sent to jail.
How Were the Girls Trapped?
The police revealed that the accused targeted minor girls who were upset with their families. These traffickers gained their trust by talking sweetly and lured them away from their homes, only to sell them later.
Some of these girls were forced into labor, while others were sold off for marriage. The traffickers took money from buyers and handed over these innocent girls without their consent.
Fortunately, due to timely police action, these girls have been rescued and are now safe. The authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against such criminal networks to prevent such incidents in the future.
