marriage Crime News:-A shocking case has emerged from Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, where a newlywed woman conspired with her unemployed lover to have her husband murdered. The police investigation has revealed a chilling story that has left even the authorities stunned.
How the Case Unfolded
Auraiya’s Superintendent of Police, Abhijit R. Shankar, revealed in an exclusive interview with News18 that on March 19, a seriously injured man was found in a wheat field. He was identified as Dilip Yadav, a Hydra driver. Despite receiving medical treatment, he succumbed to his injuries a few days later.
When the police started investigating the case as a blind murder, they analyzed CCTV footage and technical evidence. They discovered that the person who took Dilip on a motorcycle was named Ramji Nagar. Another suspect, Anurag Yadav, was also identified. During interrogation, the police found that Anurag Yadav was from the same village as Dilip’s wife, Pragati Yadav. Anurag and Pragati had been in a relationship for the past four years.
The Murder Plot
Further investigation revealed that Pragati was unhappy with her marriage but wanted to secure her husband’s property and money. To live a comfortable life with her unemployed lover, Anurag, she decided to get rid of her husband.
Pragati used ₹1 lakh from the wedding gift money she received during the muh dikhai ceremony as an advance payment for the murder. She gave this amount to Anurag, who then hired Ramji Nagar to carry out the killing. The total contract amount was ₹2 lakh, with ₹1 lakh paid in advance and another ₹1 lakh promised after the murder.
The Killer’s Criminal Background
Police investigations revealed that Ramji Nagar was a history-sheeter criminal who had just been released from jail on bail on March 12. Just a week after his release, he was given the contract to kill Dilip Yadav.
The Execution of the Plan
Pragati and Dilip were married on March 5, but she continued to stay in touch with her lover, Anurag, through WhatsApp calls. On March 17, just two days before the murder, she met Anurag in person. The police confirmed that on the day of the attack, March 19, Pragati sent Dilip’s live location to Anurag, who then forwarded it to Ramji Nagar.
Police Action
After gathering strong evidence, the police arrested Pragati Yadav, Anurag Yadav, and Ramji Nagar. All three have been sent to jail. The case is still under further investigation, but the police have successfully cracked the murder plot.
